Stayed at a hotel near the Vegesack local history museum and shopping center. Enjoyed activities around Bremen like cycling. The hotel had free parking, a restaurant, and even free bikes. What a treat!

I just loved the fact that they charged for Wi-Fi. Who needs free internet these days anyway?

The rooms at Hotel Strandlust Vegesack are cozy and welcoming. I really enjoyed the comfortable bed and the flat-screen TV, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The beautiful river Weser view from most rooms was a lovely bonus.

Personally, I found the mini bar in the room unnecessary. But hey, some people might enjoy having a refreshing drink right at hand!

Nice location overlooking the river, the ferry is located just outside so getting South is easy. Restaurant food is good, breakfast selection was good.

Ferry is close, so I heard it in the early hours, but the hotel provides ear plugs which were comfortable. Room was on the warm side, and opening the window was not an option with the Ferry.

The breakfast was very very good. Whole hotel is good 4* standard. Room is clean.

I have been in room with "milk" windows... Parking is quite buisy during the day.

I truly enjoyed the unique and charming ambiance of this hotel. The decoration throughout the hotel was a delightful mix of different styles and eras, creating a sense of intrigue and nostalgia. As a senior woman, I appreciated the comfortable seating areas in the lobby, where I could relax and unwind with a cup of tea or socialize with other guests. The hotel's accessibility for senior people was commendable, with well-maintained lifts and spacious corridors that were easy to navigate.

The only aspect that I would have preferred differently for a better vacation experience for senior people was the presence of more experienced staff. While most of the staff were pleasant and helpful, there were a few younger members who seemed inexperienced and slower in their service.

It was a pleasure to stay in the Strandlust Vegesack. The staff were always polite and helpful even when subjected to my crippling of their language. The rooms were clean and well furnished with comfortable beds and a view over the River Weser that was outstanding, notwithstanding the noise made by the car ferry next to the hotel. The food at breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal that we took in the restaurant. If anyone happens to arrive back at the hotel in the afternoon, there is a wonderful display of home-made cakes on display that are just screaming to be eaten. There are also some good restaurants in the local area. Overall, not cheap, but well worth it.

Rooms are clean and spacious with modern amenities such as free snacks and drinks, comfortable beds, and hairdryers in the bathrooms. the friendly staff are always on hand to assist with any requests, and the excellent breakfast buffet offers a wide range of fresh options to suit all tastes.

The hotel’s limited parking during peak events can be a downside with cars.

Clean, comfortable, spacious room. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room service food was great (as was the food in the restaurant). Really close to the train station.

No real complaints but I would like to see tea/coffee facilities in the room.
